I am super excited. My consultation appointment is in just over 2 weeks, so to fill that wait....VACATION! Well, for me anyways. Dale will be working most of it.
His job sends him many places quite often. In fact, he is probably gone at least 6 months of the year. How do I handle that? Easy, I was an Army wife. A week or two at a time is nothing, especially since we don't have the joys of raising kids yet.
So this trip is to ALASKA!!! His trip is paid for and mine was bought with his frequent flier miles! I plan to spend my time while he is working either relaxing or visiting with my sister-in-law and their beautiful children! I haven't seen the oldest in YEARS and the baby, who is 2, I've never met.
We only have to pay for 2 hotel nights over our entire stay. For those 2 nights, we are renting a cabin in the mountains (I think). Guess what, our cabin has its own private hot tub!!!
Can you tell that I'm super excited???
Once we get back, I'll have about a week before my consultation. Then we'll let the poking and proding begin......oh the things I must endure for us to be able to hold a little one of our own. But I will do so gladly and willingly, but not necessarily cheerfully! (I hate needles and medicines that make me sick)
